The Aspecta (Manhole zoom camera or electronic sewer camera) permits a view into associated sewers from a manhole without anyone having to enter it. The Aspecta is used to check the operational status and can be utilized for instance to plan needs-based sewer cleaning and additional inspection measures. Thanks to the high zoom factor (30x optical) and adequate lighting even in larger diameter sewers, a view is also possible into parts of sewer reaches far away from the manhole, up to a distance of 30 meters. With the integrated laser, the distance to particular points over the entire 30 meters can be also measured. Benefiting from its own battery powered energy supply and single person operation needs means that this is an efficient, user friendly inspection system for quick first impression inspections.
